1. We use -ing after some verbs and after prepositions.


ex: I love cooking so I´m thinking of taking a cooking class.

2. We use the infinitive (to+ simple verb) after some verbs

ex: I wanted to go home early.
ex: they asked me to leave the room.

3. Make and let are followed by the simple red

ex: she made him go to bed, but she let him read for a while
